In your spiritual journey, please watch out for wellbeing practitioners who lead with their ego. If a teacher creates an aesthetic to show how deeply spiritual they are, it’s probably a false narrative that’s trying to get you to buy from them. Wellbeing practitioners who lead from their ego can be harmful to the people who follow them. I want you to be fully informed of which wellbeing practitioner is right for you and which one is just really good at marketing themselves.
My biggest bugbear is seeing elitism with the wellbeing industry. True spirituality and all the eastern teachings do not allow for the ego to be in charge. Ego in wellbeing literally goes against everything being taught in these philosophies. It’s something that you should know about so that you can make informed choices. Following an aesthetic can do more harm than good because they are portraying a false perception of their work. Be wary, ask questions and more than anything, feel like you can trust the teacher and you’ll get the most out of the work you’ll do with them.
