When you first get grey hair, it can be really hard to accept. You feel like you’re losing your youth and beauty, and you may even feel like people are judging you for it. But there’s a whole movement of women who are choosing to grow their grey hair out, and they are loving the freedom that comes with being true to themselves!
Growing out your grey hair is liberating and can have a domino effect on your self-esteem and confidence – in a good way. Those beautiful silver and white strands tell a story of your liberation from society’s status quo that shows others what it means to be aligned with your true authentic Self. More importantly, when you grow out your greys, it makes you feel in control of your beauty – where you now play by your own rules. And if you don’t like it, you can always colour it back again. So if you’ve been thinking about growing out your grey hair, I hope the story in this video helps give you that little nudge you need.
If you decide to grow out your grey hair, I can promise you this: it will be liberating. There are the obvious benefits like not spending money on colouring your hair and having to do it more regularly than you’d like. But you’ll also care less about what other people think. You’ll get a mixed bag of compliments and judgement which is par of the course but the sense of accomplishment you’ll be feeling will override any of that. What’s most liberating about growing your grey hair is that you get to be your true Self and I think that’s definitely worth doing it for.
