What are the benefits of being kind? Why are people unkind? Where do you think it comes from? Perhaps your life experiences make you unkind? Perhaps what you consume in your life makes you unkind? Why do we have to brag about being kind?
There have been two key words in my life this year, one is resilience and the other is kindness. I’ve been building resilience in myself and my clients and I’ve been choosing kindness over anything else. Kindness towards me first (cos I’ve been mentally beating myself up for most of my life) and kindness to others, in everything I do. Even if I’m not really talking to certain people as much as I was, it’s because I’m choosing kindness towards myself and when I’m ready, I’ll share with them again.
But this kindness conversation has really been getting to me. I see so much both online and in real life that pisses me off and today I want to sound off a bit and also offer you some incredible benefits and tips of choosing kindness – especially when it feels impossible to do.
