What It Means To Know Your Life’s Purpose
Have you ever wondered what it means to know your life’s purpose? Or why you’re here?
It’s a question that many will ask themselves at some point in their lives. Maybe it’s when we feel disconnected from what we’re doing, or realise we aren’t happy with where we are. Perhaps it’s when a loved one passes away and leaves us feeling like our lives aren’t about anything more than just getting by day to day.
It happens to all of us at various points in time and if you’ve ever wondered what your life is meant for then this might be the episode for you today.
How to know your life’s purpose
If it seems too daunting to consider your life’s purpose, then only focus on defining your purpose for work, health and relationships. Over time, you’ll be able to cultivate purpose for a meaningful life.
Self-awareness is always going to be the north star. You have to actively look to understand who you are. Know what’s important to you and be open to changing your mind whenever you have a ‘growth spurt.’ You are allowed to change your mind as you learn more about yourself.
Inspire others. We can easily get caught up in our own bubbles of life where we can only see what’s immediately in front of us. But when we choose to inspire others, we share our journey. We share our lessons with those who may need to hear about it. So learn to be open with your learnings and you’ll reap the benefits of how it makes you feel. We do a lot of forward focus thinking but what about reflecting to truly understand our journey?
Indian Philosophy and knowing your life’s purpose
Vedanta tells us that you will know when you are in Dharma when your actions are spontaneously correct, you automatically know what to do in any situation, you are in harmony with and your life is supported by everything around you, you feel complete within yourself, and life becomes effortless.
